Gas Safety Certificate
From £60 (inc.)
It is a legal requirement for landlords to obtain a Gas Safety Certificate by having all the gas appliances in a rented property safety-tested every 12 months by a Gas Safe registered engineer. The engineer will produce a landlord Gas Safety Certificate. The landlord must ensure that all fittings and flues are maintained in a safe condition and records kept accordingly.
Failure to produce a valid Gas Safety Certificate can result in prosecution and may also invalidate your property insurance. Badly installed or maintained gas appliances are dangerous and can cause death through carbon monoxide poisoning and in severe cases the landlord could be charged with manslaughter.
Avoid all this by ensuring your Gas Safety Certificates are up to date. We can arrange for a qualified Gas Safe engineer to carry out an inspection and provide you with a Gas Safety Certificate. The inspection will take between 30-60 minutes and our turnaround time is 24-72 hours.
Select the number of gas appliances (eg. boiler, cooker, fireplace) there are at the property from the drop-down menu below and then complete the form and submit payment. We will contact you shortly to schedule an appointment.
